To register: To register, please click on one of the links at the bottom of the page. Once you reach the registration portal, you must either login using your current User ID (your email address) and your system password. Once you are logged in, you can register by selecting the “Shopping & Symposium Registration” link on left side of the welcome screen. If you run into issues with the registration process, please email symposium@acip.com.
Not a Member? When registering two or more persons, consider joining ACIP to realize a substantial savings. ACIP membership is available to organizations that have at least 500 employees (worldwide). Annual membership dues are per employer at the rate of $990 and cover all in-house professionals involved in immigration and mobility matters. SHRM Members: Individuals who are current members of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) are eligible to receive the ACIP member rates listed above. In order to receive the member rate, you must select “SHRM Member” as your ‘Individual Type’ when creating your profile to register for the conference. SHRM members that have questions or need assistance with the registration process should email symposium@acip.com.
Congressional Advocacy Day: ACIP members may participate in Advocacy Day activities at no charge; $50 for non-members. IMPORTANT: Advocacy Day Activities conflict with Immigration Essentials. If you plan to attend Essentials, please do not register for Advocacy Day.
J-1 Department of State Meetings: If you are interested in a one-on-one meeting with representatives from the U.S. Department of State to discuss related items on Tuesday June 4th, please be sure to select this option when registering for the conference. These meetings will be in increments of 20 minutes and should be used to discuss your organization’s J-1 program designations and program activities. As we finalize our agenda for the day, you will be emailed a specific date and time for your meeting.
Guests: Family and friends are welcome to attend the evening social events. Guest tickets are available at an additional cost of $250/person and may be purchased on-site.
Materials: All attendees will be provided with conference materials on a USB/flash drive. Conference books (printed materials) can be provided for an optional fee of $50.
Cancellation Policy: Substitutions for persons originally registered will be subject to a $50 processing fee. Written cancellations prior to April 1, 2013 will incur a cancellation penalty of $250, and refund of the balance of payment will be made by check within 4-6 weeks. Cancellations received between April 1, 2013 and May 1, 2013 will be subject to a fee of $500. No cancellation requests will be accepted after May 1, 2013.

Recertification Credits: ACIP's 2013 Symposium has been approved for 18.75 (Specified -International) recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute. Please be sure to note the program ID number on your recertification application form. For more information about certification or recertification, please visit the HR Certification Institute website at www.hrci.org.
In addition to HRCI recertification credits, ACIP will be requesting for CLE recertification credits for the 2013 Symposium. Attendees interested in requesting CLE recertification credits must complete the CLE request form that will be provided with the conference materials at onsite registration check-in and return it to ACIP at the conclusion of the Symposium.
